Daemen College is launching a new Lunch with the President series to offer faculty and staff the opportunity to engage in informal conversation with President Gary A. Olson on current college initiatives, future plans, and to address questions on various college-related topics.
The new luncheon series is one of several ongoing presidential communications efforts at Daemen designed to support transparency and to encourage in open dialogue, including the president’s semiannual State of the College addresses, town hall forums, the Daemen Voice weekly newsletter, the President’s Leadership Advisory Council, and frequent update letters to the campus community.
“As an institution, we are committed to offering many opportunities for continued conversation and interaction to keep our campus community well informed and to learn about issues of concern,” said Olson. “These events are an opportunity to come together for an enjoyable lunch while having an open, casual discussion about our exceptional college.”
The first in the series of lunches for faculty will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 27 in the Executive Board Room in the Wick Campus Center. Due to limited seating, reservations must be received by noon Feb. 21.
Information on a Lunch with the President event open to Daemen staff will be made available once it has been scheduled.
