Kara Kane
Kara Kane has joined Daemen College as the new director of conference services. In this role, she is responsible for managing, marketing, and implementing all aspects of the college’s conference services operation. She is looking forward to bringing in new conferences and groups to the college and creating a “one stop shop.”
For the past 12 years, Kane has worked in the hospitality industry, including Buffalo Lodging Associates. Most recently, she was a director of sales where she was responsible for marketing, sales, and guest services for 12 hotels in Buffalo. Prior to this, she was a Walt Disney World cast member at Disney’s All Star Resorts.
Kane earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Canisius College. A Western New York native, she resides in Depew with her husband, Steve. She enjoys traveling to Walt Disney World, running, and spending time with her family.
