Daemen College students, faculty and staff gathered for a campus tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 29 to kick off the holiday season.
The official lighting of a large pine tree located outside the college’s Wick Campus Center was done by Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for student affairs.
“This special event is a great way for us to come together as a college community to celebrate the wonderful holiday season for all faiths,” said Nayor.
Hosted by the Office of Student Affairs, the tree lighting ceremony also included carolers, hot chocolate, and egg nog to enjoy the holidays as the fall semester comes to a close this month.
