In a recent campus letter, Daemen College President Gary Olson praised students for their resiliency and tenacity in moving forward with their academic journey and provided an update on planning underway for classes in the months ahead.
“We continue to operate under the guidance of state and local officials, and, at this time, we remain cautiously optimistic that we will resume in-person classes for the fall semester,” noted President Olson in his letter. “That being said, we want to be prepared should circumstances outside of our control prohibit this from happening.”
President Olson pointed out that the college is planning for potential scenarios for the 2020-21 academic year and that the campus community will be updated as decisions are made on how best to proceed with classes.
As the semester draws to a close, President Olson added that there is much to celebrate despite the many challenges that the Daemen community has faced during this time.
