Scott E. Friedman, chairman of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, has been appointed to the Daemen College Board of Trustees.
“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Friedman to the Daemen board and are confident his expertise and experience will greatly contribute to the continued success of this exceptional college,” said Dr. Thomas Stewart, chair of the Daemen Board of Trustees.
Author of numerous books and articles on business, Friedman focuses his legal work on assisting entrepreneurs and family businesses, from the start-up stage through succession planning. His practice areas also include technology, venture capital, and health care, among others.
Friedman served on the Daemen Community Advisory Board until his appointment as trustee. Active in the community, he serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, the Law Enforcement Foundation of Western New York, and the University at Buffalo Council.
Friedman earned a law degree from Washington University School of Law, a master of laws from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College.
