“Daemen is committed to supporting our nation’s warriors by connecting student veterans and military-aligned students with veteran service organizations designed to support growth, healing, and the very difficult transition from military service to civilian life,” said Robyn Swan, director of veteran services. “It’s an honor to, once again, be recognized as a Military Friendly School.”

Daemen offers a variety of services to veterans and military-aligned students, including a $2,000 Leadership Grant for all eligible veterans, exclusive access to the Nancy Haberman Gacioch Center for veterans, access to the on-campus Veteran Success Center that provides customized academic and mental health support services to veterans and their dependents, and a 15% discount in the Wildcat Den, 78 West, and Wick Dining Hall.Round seal with navy border that says Military Friendly Spouse School in white text. “Earning the Military Friendly designation is more than a badge of honor; it is a reflection of an institution’s deep-rooted values and strategic commitment to those who served,” said Kayla Lopez, vice president, Military Friendly. “These schools don’t just open doors for veterans and military spouses, they build sustainable pathways for academic success and long-term impact. Their support is transformative, proving that investing in military-connected students is both a moral imperative and a standard for educational excellence.”

Daemen will be showcased in the 2026-2027 Guide to Schools® in the April issue of Military Friendly G.I. Jobs® magazine and on MilitaryFriendly.com.
