Alum Adriane Z. Williams, currently the assistant director of Medaille College’s Academic Success Center, began her career in Daemen College’s Office of Admissions while also pursuing her degree.
“Being a part of the Daemen alumni family will always bring warmth to my heart,” said Williams. “It was an awesome experience, and I made lifelong friends. Forever a Warrior Wildcat!”
After earning a bachelor’s degree in humanities with a minor in philosophy/religious studies, Williams was named director of Daemen’s Liberty Partnership Program. She went on to receive a master’s degree in student personnel administration from SUNY Buffalo State College, and later served as an academic advisor before being promoted to associate director of academic advisement at Daemen. Williams also went on to work at the Washington Leadership Academy, a public charter high school in Washington, D.C. She later was named director of TRiO at Trocaire College.
In 2020, Williams received Daemen’s Distinguished Alumni Award for Dedication to the College.
She is a proud mother and grandmother. Her husband, and three of her five children, are also Daemen alumni.
