On Dec. 1, Daemen College will be participating in the 8th annual GivingTuesday campaign. GivingTuesday is a global celebration of philanthropy and service to nonprofit organizations.
This 24-hour campaign calls upon our alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends for their financial support to help take the mission and the vision of Daemen forward. GivingTuesday is a time when our Daemen and Rosary Hill community members are encouraged to donate to areas they are most passionate about and make a global impact on our students.
On GivingTuesday, every gift made to the college will support what matters most – our students. Contributions to Daemen College on GivingTuesday and throughout the year assist students with unexpected hardships, scholarships, innovative academic programs, support for the student-athlete experience, study abroad opportunities, and much more.
“The coronavirus pandemic continues to impact our students and the community in ways that were unimaginable even 12 months ago,” said Jill Robins, associate vice president for advancement and special events. “We can all do our part to lessen the burden felt by others, and GivingTuesday is a reminder that it is within each of us to spread generosity and kindness, no matter how big or how small.”
