Michelle Semski serves as an academic advisor in the Daemen College Student Success Center. She brings to Daemen nearly 10 years of advisement experience from Bryant & Stratton College and Trocaire College. She has also worked in other areas in higher education, including campus activities and at the Niagara University College of Arts and Sciences.
Semski’s previous advisement experience has been very experiential and career driven and she is excited to share that with Daemen students as they learn about all the different programs the college offers. Her goal is to help students feel as though they are a part of the campus community and advocate for their needs so they can have the best experience possible while in college.
Semski is a member and previously served as committee chair of the Western New York Advising Conference. She earned a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and a bachelor’s degree in communications, both from Niagara University.
Originally from South Haven, Mich., Semski resides with her family in Grand Island. Outside of work, she enjoys completing do-it-yourself projects around her home and attending concerts.
