Dr. Jim Edwards, who received a doctorate in physical therapy from Daemen College, specializes in treating patients with spine and orthopedic injuries, headaches, and chronic pain.
He currently serves as clinical team leader at the Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy’s Main Campus in Ohio, where he oversees orthopedic and neurologic care and many specialty programs.
An advocate for the physical therapy profession and the Cleveland Clinic, Edwards is a frequent speaker at state and national conferences.
“In life you will never stop learning, and Daemen provided me with an excellent foundation to grow as a person and a professional,” said Edwards. “Learning firsthand from experts like Dr. Ron Schenk, Dr. Gary Styn, Dr. Teresa Kolodziej, and Dr. Sharon Held was a priceless educational experience.”
In 2016, Edwards married Dr. Marissa (Bechtold) Edwards ’11, his college lab partner from anatomy class. The couple welcomed their first child in December 2017.
