The scholarship program enables candidates to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees at a lower tuition rate. Undergraduate programs include Accounting, Business, Marketing, Health Promotion, Health Wellness and Fitness Management, and Social Work. Graduate programs include a Master of Public Health, Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis, Master of Business Administration, and an MBA in Accounting, in addition to an Advanced Certificate or Master of Science in Leadership and Innovation and a Master of Social Work that were offered under the prior agreement.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with UWBEC to offer even more undergraduate and graduate scholarship opportunities to its affiliates,” said Dr. Lisa Rafalson, founding dean, College of Health, Human Sciences, and Business at Daemen. “The variety and flexibility of programs provide candidates with accessible resources for pursuing and achieving their academic goals.”

“United Way of Buffalo & Erie County is grateful to Daemen University for our partnership, which enables our affiliate members to pursue college degrees at lower tuition rates,” said Trina Burruss, president and CEO, United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. “One of the ways we can make meaningful differences in our community is by coming together to provide quality education opportunities in the health, human services, and business fields.”
