Five Daemen faculty and staff members were honored during Daemen’s 2025 Outstanding Faculty and Staff Awards ceremony on Friday, April 25, immediately following the spring State of the University address.

Olson presented awards to recipients across four categories: Outstanding Staff Award, Amanda Gross Outstanding Administrator Award, Outstanding Faculty Award, and President’s Excellence Award.
“This is my favorite part of the agenda where I can recognize and celebrate faculty and staff for their profound impact on the Daemen community,” Olson said, adding, “Thank you all for your exceptional contributions that make our university such a special place. Your leadership and dedication ensure Daemen continues to lead the way as an institution of distinction.”

President’s Excellence Award
- Dr. Mimi Steadman, Vice President for Strategic Initiatives; and Dr. Lisa Parshall, Professor of Political Science and Pre-law advisor
