Emerging Business Leaders Symposium Draws a Crowd

Faculty, young professionals, and Western New York business leaders from varied industries attended the symposium, providing a forum for sharing professional insight, networking opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of impactful business leaders.  Large meeting room with slide presentation on the screen and male presenter in front of the room speaking to attendees seated at round tables.

A.J. Baynes, Amherst Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, opened the symposium. Lynsey Zimdahl Weaver and Nick Darling, Emerging Business Leaders and Co-Chairs, provided the welcome.

“We value our partnership with the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, and we’re proud to partner with them on our fourth year hosting the symposium,” said Kaylyn Billups, Director of Graduate Admissions. “There is so much potential among young professionals in the area and this event gives them the opportunity to gain valuable insights and mentorship from business leaders to help inform and propel their careers forward.” 

The symposium is part of the Chamber’s Emerging Business Leaders (EBL) program, through which young professionals meet monthly to expand their network, support professional growth, and make meaningful impact in the community.
