Martha Kershaw

Martha Kershaw, who received a master degree’s in nursing education from Daemen College, has joined the faculty as an assistant professor of nursing. Prior to this, she held various clinical, faculty and leadership roles in the Western New York area.

A licensed registered nurse in New York State, Kershaw specializes in distance education and earned an online teaching certificate from the Online Learning Consortium. In her previous faculty position, she oversaw a team’s efforts to develop and implement standards for online education.

Kershaw is pursuing a doctorate in education with a specialization in higher education from Concordia University. Her research focus is student support in the online environment.

Kershaw resides in Lockport with husband, Ron, and daughter, Elizabeth, 11.
